This year, our annual ATTO workshop will take place at INPA in Manaus from October 2-4, preceded by a mini-workshop on data management on Oct 1.
We will be following the format from past workshops, with only a few invited keynote lectures, and the majority of time devoted to poster sessions and discussion groups.
As always, students may decide to present in English or Portuguese. However, we ask everyone to include a short summary in the other language (Posters in English with a summary in Portuguese, Posters in Portuguese with a summary in English) on their poster to overcome language barriers even more.
Registration is now closed.
We want to allow the local organization team more time to make all necessary agreements, so we ask everyone, even our local participants, to register in due time. For all who wish to apply for financial support for traveling to Manaus from Brazilian funding agencies, please register by July 26.

- Greenhouse gases & VOCs
- Physical Climate
- Aerosols & Clouds, Biogeochemistry
In addition, the program will include some invited plenary talks, scientific and beyond, as well as plenty of time for breakout sessions and discussions of various topics.
See the program below (click to download as PDF), you can find the detailed program if you can scan the QR-code on your workshop badge.
Presenters should prepare a poster, ideally in A0 portrait format. It should include a short summary in the other language (i.e. English posters should include a summary in Portuguese, and Portuguese posters should include a summary in English). With this, we hope to improve the exchange between project members who do not speak a common language. Please upload your poster here for storage.
We will offer an on-site printing service for posters. However, posters will have to be finished and uploaded until September 15. Click here to upload your poster to use the printing service. Please include your name in the filename. If your poster is not ready until then, you may print it yourself.
To be clear, if you prepare a poster and you want to use the printing service, you should upload your poster to BOTH links.
You can use the 3-minute presentation however you prefer (including showing a short presentation) but please consider the very limited time and do not try to show too much!
